Mom, you DO NOT want to take Go Train to Oakville ; confusing navigating Union Station Go Trains.

A round trip business class ticket to and from TORONTO is $244.

Not sure what I searched the first time, but here is the breakdown for one-way tickets. For the flexibility, I feel it is worth paying the extra $25 :

(london to oakville, business on Sat Feb 10 - $105)

(toronto to london, business on Mon Feb 12 - $ 112) = $217

I have looked into VIA RAIL train ticket, and this is what I found.

Tom, after speaking on the phone with mom, I thought maybe a 1-way ticket to Oakville on the Saturday February 10 would work (e.g., train 72, at 10:44am, for $96).

Then to save us from rushing back to Oaville on the Sunday to catch a train, mom could come home to Toronto with us, and take the Monday morning home (e.g., train 73, at 11:30am, for $96), on Monday Feburary 12?.

I'm not sure how 2 one-way tickets compares to a round-trip ticket; I'm sure we can help you and Chris out (as this might be more than you were originally planning on spending).
